Made this cake on yesterday. I saw this technique and wanted to try it out. This cake is fully homemade. It is a double layrer Cream Cheese Pound Cake. The icing is Vanilla Buttercream.
The icing was tinted with Aqua and I let it sit for awhile to achieve the deep color. After applying basketweave around the cake in white, I put spiral blossoms around the top and bottom in Aqua. Surprised at how good this came out for my first time.
It tastes as good as it look!
